ABOUT ME

Italian/german girl, and indeed a mix of both cultures !!!
Born and grown up in Germany and since 2014 living in Italy, Milan.

I'm a Human Biologist with a PhD in cancer research. After travelling through whole Italy in Aug 2019, I ended my contract and continued to travel and volunteer in south Italy, Jordan, Africa and visited the US.

In Jan 2020 I started my Post Doc in Nanosciences, back again in Milan.
I did not want to leave Italy yet, and now it seems almost too late to leave ...

I'm respectful, open-minded, curious and pretty direct.
I enjoy deep conversations, to learn, to get new points of view. But I can also talk bullshit and laugh 😁

I can be talkative but also enjoy the silence.

When I host, I dont make a big deal out of having CS guest, things should be smooth and easy and as if it was your home too, andwe'll get along :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the idea of helping, without expecting stomething back.... if one wants to travel (only) and/or learn about new culutres or people, money shouldnt be a limit .... possibilities should be taken.....

I like to get in contact with / learn from people and this brings such different people together....

Roadtrip alone through Jordan and waking up in the desert of Wadi Rum after camping with one of the guides and absolutely NO phone connection...
The entire trip I've done alone in 2019/2020 in places mostly far from toursim
