CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to have a hell of a time traveling in India, Nepal, SE Asia then Indonesia within the next 7 months. I land in India tomrrow at noon.Psyched to be on the road again!

ABOUT ME

I think I would say I am a lot of things...outgoing, reserved, liberal, stringent concerning some things, very adventurous though also like to be cozy, literary, and overall very imaginative. I find things materializing from strange ideas on a regular basis. This gives me the feeling that anything is possible, and I would say I am a very expansive personality. I really enjoy good food and being on the coast or in the mountains.

PHILOSOPHY

My goal is to be fearless. Not so I have to be brave all the time, but so that I feel comfortable and dynamic in any situation, eliminating fear in the first place. Each year presents opportunities for taking bigger risks, this year included. This steadily makes me a more intelligent and compassionate person.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had couch surfers at my house in Amsterdam before--twice because I bumped into backpackers at bars that had no place to go--and a few times because friends who said they could host ended up having little room. This time I am on the road so I cannot open my doors--for now I'm just a taker of Asian couches--but when I return home I'll open up my doors for other seekers.

The Rees-Dart Valley track in New Zealand, chasing whales on a small and very fast speedboat with a case of beer and a crazy Mexican in beloved Mexico, moving to Spain as a 17-year-old, living in a van surfing in Oz, working as a journalist for a cocktail magazine, accidentally picking up a black mamba in Brasil and watching a villager cry and then chop the snake into 8 pieces

I can give you a private yoga lesson. I can cook a delicious meal. I will go out with you and you will have an awesome night. At the end of a visit I will write you a poem.
