À propos de moi
ABOUT ME
I'm adaptable, practical, and love to make people laugh. I've got an absurdist sense of humor that I think is awesome, but I've been told that a lot of my jokes are better characterized as just lies. I love traveling, though it's gotten to the point where I feel at home wherever I go, so my focus has shifted to getting to know the people around me and the daily life of the place I'm in. The neatest places I've traveled to were Iceland, Jordan, Japan, and Arizona! And I've lived in Atlanta, Marrakech, Amsterdam, and Edinburgh - so, I speak Arabic, Dutch, and two screwed up types of English. I'm currently growing as much of my own food as I can on a plot of squatted land and am really in to making and fixing things. I'm great with community-style living and loving cooking and playing music for people. I built my own banjo and recorded an old-timey folk album that includes a duet with my parakeet, Spotlight Billy, so you might just get a copy of that whether or not you want it. And I'm doing a PhD right now in language evolution. Right, that'd be the relevant stuff.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
Oh man, I co-organize a skillshare in Edinburgh, so I'm really into this.
I'd be happy to teach ya about:
Musical instrument making, computer programming, crocheting, evolution, how to play the banjo, vegetable gardening, how to write in Arabic (in 2 hours tops), how to get the most out of your protractor, and cooking!!!
