Hello, World!

I am a 21 years old boy who grown up in Athens. Right now i am studing sociology, a subject that helped me undestand my self through the intepretation of the complicated structures that consist our Society.
If life is an unansweared question whatever i am doing is an effort to get closer to that answear: By reading literature i manage to live in many different historical periods, by watching cinema i get tranfered to a totally different societes, by writing i get more and more inside the maze of my head..
I also love travelling, to get lost at the narrow little streets of an unknown town, to get mixed with the locals at their bars trying to listen to their conversation and to feel their vibes!

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

For me travelling is not only visiting the places of main interest of the city like museums, central squares etc.. Imagine a city without people, Rome for example! Rome without Romans is simply nothing! So a city firstly is consisting by its people.
Couchsurfing gives the opportunity to explore a city by a way that even the best travel agency can't provide! By meeting and staying with a local i get a glampse of the local life. I find fascinating the ability to listen from first hand about the life in a city, about the problems that the peple are facing, about the struggles of that people, about the sights that only the locals know!
Furthermore even if some hostels are quite cozzy, a local can provide you an familiar enviroment that you can't find elsewhere..

i love rock, electronic and ethnic as well music.
as concerning my favorite books I can indivizualize writers as jean genet, Marquis de Sade ,Milan Kundera, ernesto sabato, leon tolstoy and others!

What i love learning from a local is elements of his cultural background, about history, about tradition, about politics!
I suppose that i could as well transfer my approaches over a wide range of issues!
