About Me

We are mother and son travelers. We love to hit the road, get to know new cultures, get in touch with native peoples and explore different places. We are traveling through some countries together and it has been an inexplicable adventure. How many learnings and new friendships are showing us a new world with each experience and all of this is what represents us. From learning the local cuisine to the diverse customs and diversities between nations and especially how important mutual respect is. Life is too short to be paralyzed and there are so many paths we can follow this is what my son and I are looking for at the moment, to learn, live different experiences, make friends, and eat, because we love a good lunch and/or that special dinner.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This exchange of experiences that exists within this group is special. Being able to learn, understand and experience the local day-to-day life has enormous meaning for us. We left our life in our country, which is also beautiful, to go out into the world and who knows, maybe come back one day with many stories to tell.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: We are very eclectic
Movies: I love European films and documentaries, for example about the environment and biographies. My son loves everything related to cars (understands everything about mechanics, acceleration, how many horses, car brands, etc) and also enjoys some movie classics like Interstellar.
Books: There are so many, for example, biographies, authors like Josten Gardener (I love), books on self knowledge, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I helped make an organic vegetable garden in a space that was not being used in Japan for a wonderful chef and we learned together to produce real food for a kindergarten, where the students could learn about the foods that are usually thrown in the garbage, due to lack of knowledge and are very rich for a more conscious diet. Preparing the soil, planting, caring for growth, harvesting and making fresh food, conscious food, and feeding those super weak children in need of affection and attention was the best.

Teach, Learn, Share

What I Can Share with Hosts
