ABOUT ME

I love bikes, art, music, yoga, meditation, writing, reading, food, wine, beer, mountain biking, rock climbing, backpacking, camping and traveling. I like to have random adventures and try things I've never done before. I became obsessed with traveling after doing a 2 month solo trip to Europe. Now I have the travel bug :D I always love meeting other backpackers.

PHILOSOPHY

Music: electronic, especially house, hardcore, d&b and psytrance. And I also have a thing for punk and ska shows. And I listen to a lot of classic rock.
Also jam bands - phish, string cheese, that sort of thing.
Books: Lately, Rick Steves - awesome travel writer! I've always been obsessed with Hunter S. Thompson, he is my all-time favorite. And lately I can't stop reading this book of poetry by Charles Bukowski. Don't get me wrong, his books are amazing, but I feel like I know that crazy man better than I ever have after reading his poetry.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I celebrated the Sabbath in Israel with an amazing Israeli family. There was a long wooden table with 25 people gathered around it, the entire table covered in different types of Middle Eastern foods. They also have a ritual where before the meal, you all go around the table and say "Shabbat Shalom" to each person, then hug and kiss them. BEST way ever to instantly turn a roomful of new people into good friends!

I can teach people English! I taught it in Chile to middle and high schoolers, and did some private tutoring too.

I can also show you around San Francisco - I like showing off my city :D
