I'm a shy introvert with some not afraid to make a fool of myself mixed in. I might not be the first to strike up a conversation, but if you get to know me, I might surprise you. :]
I'm usually calm with some occasional spurts of energy - but I get tired easily, and one of my many small talents is being able to fall asleep anywhere at any time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have had social anxiety for as long as I can remember, but I still enjoy getting to know different people. I see couchsurfing as a way to challenge myself and hopefully meet lots of amazing new people!
I love seeing new places and travelling. I also want to be able to offer a place to sleep for someone who needs it, and help them on their own travels.

Interests

I'm a lover of (mostly) all animals, but I'm the happiest when cuddled up with one or two or ten cats. I also have a weird affinity for big dogs and birds/rodents/reptiles. And elephants. Those cuties.
I spend my days playing games, both the tabletop and video variety, reading books and web comics, watching series online and just staring at the ceiling trying to avoid an existential crisis.
Despite sounding like your regular what's-that-bright-thing-in-the-sky shut-in, I adore nature and love taking walks through woods and climbing around. I do however have the worst balance and sense of direction of anyone I know, so I usually end up lost and bruised. Adventure!

Music, Movies, and Books

The music I listen to depends on my mood. Lately I've been listening to a lot, including pop rock, glitch hop and tropical house.

I don't watch as many movies as I'd like to. I like to experience movies with someone else, and unfortunately I haven't had any good movie buddies (yet!). I'm not picky, as long as it's not too soppily romantic. Some of my favourites are The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Wolf Children and Tangled.

I've loved reading ever since I was little, and my favourite genre is fantasy. Picking a favourite book is too difficult, but I really enjoy series like The Wheel of Time, the Discworld series and A Song of Ice and Fire. I'm always open for more suggestions!
