ABOUT ME

Soo.... I am currently a teacher living in Seoul, South Korea. I have been out of University for about six years. Being a philosophy graduate there are not many jobs out there. I have spent time working at various summer camps, transporting industrial sized cabinets all around the great state of North Carolina, and have worked in a door factory stapling molding onto door frames. Yeah, so, eventually I want to go back to school for something philosophy related but right now I am just enjoying teaching and living abroad!!!

PHILOSOPHY

This is a difficult question, one that I do not believe that I can ever answer in the same way. I try to avoid dogmatism, even though everyone, myself included, is guilty of it. But in general I believe that I am here to have some type of physical experience and then I die and somewhere in between we learn things that carry on with us afterwards.

I have a couch, I can host people. And pleasant people could host me.

兴趣

I like cycling, outdoor adventures and photography. Just ambling around town is one of my favorite past times. I love speaking about philosophy and everything under the sun that goes with it. I often think of arguing as a sport so just because I am arguing for one-side does not necessarily mean I believe it. Also I cannot help but enjoy the sweet nectar that is beer, gods grace on earth.

I have little nuggets of knowledge that I have picked up along the way thus far. But as for something practical I am not sure I have anything to share. I am first aid certified and have been for the past five years so I maybe able to share a little bit about basic first aid knowledge. Working with children has been my summer occupation for the past seven years so I may be able to share the understanding and patience it takes to work with children.
