ABOUT ME

I worked in a local vineyard a couple of years ago and at that time, I had a number of backpackers stay with me. I have three children and at times it was somewhat squashy.. lol.. But we loved it and I miss them. It was so good to meet travellers!! I can't travel at the moment(with young kids) but it was great to bring the world to our home. :) I am working 5 days a week 9am to 5pm - close to home. Through the week I will be able to see you in the evening but you will probably be left to your own devices during the day. I have some "regular" weekly duties but otherwise I just make up what to do on a day to day basis.

PHILOSOPHY

The world is not as big as we think it is!! Lets shrink it more!!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Offer people somewhere to stay (maybe they are working and need a couch in the Yarra Valley?)Share their company and put subtitles on the tv again.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My couchsurfing experience has been "hosting" only. I have enjoyed some great experiences and just as I suspected, I love to meet travellers and listen to their stories. Sometimes because of the kids I need to be cautious and I have had some people a bit annoyed by that. But if you can bear with me and be understanding - i am sure we will end up with another happy memory.
