About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I am on an everquest for enlightenment and inner peace. That's a hard journey to take alone, so I am on a venture for warm-hearted people to light this path with me.

ABOUT ME

My code of Ethics:
-The only thing greater than love itself is the selfless act of sharing it with others
-I suffer insanely from nostalgia
-I love rain, snow, and thunderstorms
-I encourage affection and happiness
-If you are my friend I will love you forever, if you hurt me I will only let you destroy yourself, if you hurt my friend, I will destroy you myself
-FRIEND is more than just a word to me
-Independent [politically speaking]
-Pro-Choice: You have to first be BORN before you can DIE.
-Global Warming DOES exist
-All religious beliefs each hold a grain of truth
-If people need to have a license to drive a car, people who want kids should have a license to become Parents
-Compromise is the answer to all things
-Perpetual balance is the reason why all things happen
-The moment you doubt, is the moment you fail
-To be free of doubt, is what it means to be truly free
-I am constantly in search of enlightenment
-Atheist's and Born-Again Christian's are exactly the same: They both think they are right, and have no proof to back it up.

PHILOSOPHY

The world is a wheel, you get what you share, be it good or bad, the universe is indiscriminate. The idea that god made man in "his" own image is about as arrogant as humankind can get. Simply put, no one can truly know the truth about the afterlife, we can only surmise based on what we believe. Belief is not always truth, and truth is more absolute than belief. Religion was set in place to overall dictate what right and wrong is, when the truth is, right and wrong is a great vast gray area of life. Its about as real as time: man-made, yet we perceive it to exist; we ask why we can look to the past and not have the ability to see into the future.

Right, wrong, and truth varies among the individual. We can only hope we are making the best choices we can, and be as honest with others as we are with ourselves. The universe is too big and we, as humans, are too small: yet we still challenge to presume there is an almighty god? Or not? As I mentioned, Atheists and over zealous religious nuts are as close minded as it gets, because they aren't open to the possibility, or the question that would defile their arrogance: What if I AM wrong?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Eventually when I do find my way, I plan to open my doors and my heart to others like me, who have traveled and need a place to rest their head and share their story. No fame, fortune, or glamor can ever amount to the simple vagabond with an epic life story to tell. I extend a hand of partnership to anyone who needs or wants a traveling companion. Loneliness is a drifters only enemy.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Many years ago, before I left NY to venture out West, I was 19 and struggling to survive. I was forced to drop out of high school to work for money to eat. I was living in my car, and had no place to go. I spent a lot of my time at the mall to keep warm, and be around people to keep the loneliness from setting in. It was there I met some kind souls who offered me help. I spent some nights at their home, getting me out of the cold. Other nights I just used their shower and went back to my car. I've slept on floors more than couches, but I was happy to just have a roof over my head. Times were very hard for me then... I eventually pulled my life together and returned to NY after living on the West coast for almost 4 years.

Interests

I like to take long road trips and see the country, meet new people along the way, and video document my journeys. Its such a thrill for me. I also play guitar (10 yrs) and sing. Whenever I'm in a solid situation I settle down and make music. My life hasn't been able to afford that luxury in over half a year now. Because of my innate love for traveling and driving, I want to be a Class A cross country truck driver. I look at trucking as more of a lifestyle than a job, and its something I am very interested in. I also love watching movies, and making friends on myspace. I freelance model on the side as well. When I'm not doing all that, I am working on my stories. I discovered my love of writing when I was only 9 years old. I've been doing it ever since. I write all kinds of fiction, but what I have yet to write is the story of my life. Many people say it would make a great book... but my question to them is: where do I begin?
