Hi! I have been traveling across Europe for about 8 years since I moved here for my studies. I have been to about 14 countries in Europe so far. I am currently living in Germany and plan to take full advantage of the hybrid WFH situation and travel whenever I can squeeze in a few days!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am new to the world of Couchsurfing and would love to be a part of the community here! I was in academia before and often traveled with a friend or two. Now I have moved to a new country and I am excited to travel on my own, explore new places, and have a chance to meet people from diverse backgrounds.

I am traveling to Iceland from 29th September to 3rd October and I am looking for a place to stay and meet new people!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We were a group of four hiking across a waterfall trail in Abruzzo Park. We had a hand-drawn map and a couple of painted arrows to follow while we came across a hobbit-looking door with an arrow pointing down towards the stream (following from the waterfall). We crazily followed the arrow pointing downhill and it led to us hiking in knee-deep water steadily increasing in speed, jumping down huge rocks, and following our intuition for about an hour until we could see nothing but a plunging fall. We had to walk back all the way climbing rocks, racing against time as it was almost 7 pm (luckily it was Italian summer).
