Hi! I'm 4th year student of the Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia. I'm really interesyed in learning foreign languages and culture of other countries that's why I decided to study linguistics there.
I'm a friendly and easy going person and I really want to share my own experience with other people and meet foreigners to learn more about this world.

I like travelling. However, I believe that only living with the natives can really help to understand a country you're visiting. Hotels can tell nothing about the country you stay in because they all look similar to each other. No matter where you are: Paris, Berlin, Tokyo... Hotels will be the same. However, sharing the dwelling with the locals is unforgettable experience because you can literary feel the country from the inside.
Also I want to have some foreign guests in my own city, because I'm interested not only in learning another culture but also in sharing the culture of my motherland

I'm obsessed with reading. When I'm not too busy with my studying I try to read at least 2 books per month.
Drawing is my another hobby. I'm not a professional artist but I do sketches quite often

I'm a music lover! Everything with good rhythm and lyrics will suit me. However, I prefer rock to pop music in many cases :)
Speaking about books, I have many favourite ones but my loveliest one is "Crime and Punishment" by Feodor Dostoyevsky.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Last year I decided to participate in Work And Travel programme for students of universities from all over the world allowing them to live and work in the U.S during the whole summer and then to travel across the country. I think that this decision has changed my life greatly because firstly, it improves your language skills, secondly, it helps you to grow up and learn how to live on your own, and thirdly, it allows you to see the country from the inside, because you're not a tourist here but a resident!
