About Me
SAP Cloud Consultant by day, badminton smasher and chess master by evening, full-time foodie and traveler in between. I’m basically a cloud engineer who occasionally forgets he's not on vacation all year round.
Originally from India, I’ve been calling Germany home for the past 12 years — which means I now have strong opinions on bread quality, punctual trains (or lack thereof), and how to survive winter with only mild emotional damage.
I love meeting new people, exploring different cultures, and trying food that might mildly confuse my digestive system but make my soul very happy. Whether it’s spicy street food in Asia or a suspiciously cheesy dish in Switzerland — I’m game. (If you're offering snacks, I'm already 80% convinced.)
I speak fluent Tech-ish, Badmintonese, and have a basic working knowledge of "How to Lose Gracefully at Chess... Sometimes."
Looking forward to sharing stories, laughs, and possibly the last piece of pizza (but only if you're nice).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because hotels are boring, and I firmly believe that the best way to experience a new place is through the people who live there (and possibly their grandma’s secret recipe). I'm not just here for a free couch — I'm here for stories, laughs, culture swaps, and maybe a friendly chess match or two. Couchsurfing is my way of collecting memories, not fridge magnets (okay… maybe a few magnets too).
Interests
🛫 Traveling — I collect experiences, not things (unless it's fridge magnets or snacks).
🍜 Trying cuisines from around the world — from street food to Michelin-star mysteries, I’m in.
🏸 Playing badminton — it’s not just a sport, it’s a full-body chess match with a shuttlecock.
♟️ Playing chess — because sometimes I like to sit quietly and destroy people intellectually.
🌍 Learning about new cultures — every person is a new story, and I’m a curious reader.
🎬 Watching movies & documentaries — especially the ones that make you say “Wait... that actually happened?”
🧠 Tech & Cloud Stuff — I geek out over SAP and cloud tech, but don’t worry, I won’t turn your living room into a data center.
🎤 Sharing stories and laughs — because life’s better when it's shared (especially over food).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Bag packed to Spain and Iceland in 2019 and met many amazing people.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you the basics (or the mysterious depths) of SAP and cloud tech — if you’ve ever wondered where “the cloud” really is, I’ve got answers (spoiler: it’s not floating above your house).
I can also share some beginner badminton tips or challenge you to a friendly chess match — happy to explain my strategy, unless I’m losing. Then I’ll pretend I don’t have one.
I love learning about different cultures, traditions, languages, and how people live their daily lives around the world. If you have a favorite recipe, local secret, or a family tradition — I’d love to hear (or taste) it!
Also open to learning a new sport, dance, phrase, or even how to properly pronounce the name of your city.
Stories from 12 years of living in Germany, travel experiences, home-cooked food (from my country or improvised with whatever’s in the kitchen), and lots of laughs.
I bring good vibes, respect, and a genuine curiosity — plus I’ll never say no to sharing a meal, a walk, or a weird YouTube video.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Great conversations, stories from my travels (including some "what was I thinking?" moments), and a genuine curiosity about your culture and way of life. I can cook a dish or two from my home country — edible, I promise!
If you're up for a game, I can challenge you to a friendly match of badminton (warning: I play to win 😄) or chess (where I might let you win... maybe).
I’m also happy to help with anything tech-related — especially if you’ve ever wanted to know what the cloud actually is (spoiler: it’s not in the sky).
Oh, and I always bring good vibes, respect for your space, and a sense of humor that may or may not involve bad puns.
