I am a 20 year old Portuguese economics student. I decided to follow Economics because my mom is really persuasive and didn't allow me to follow anything I actually liked. In addition to persuasion she also paid the bills. I divide my time between college, procrastinating on following a career as a comedian and an overly demanding girlfriend.

I am a very easy going person that loves meeting new people and exploring new things. My biggest passion is comedy and I have been doing stand-up for about 1 year in bars through Lisbon. I am currently in an exchange program in São Paulo where I have been able to know better the amazing country Brazil is. I am very curious about many other South American countries and I plan to do a big trip by the end of the year.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe Couchsurfing is the best way of traveling. By staying with locals we are able to further involve ourselves with the country's culture and get a better notion of their habits and customs. As a host, I think that it is such an amazing experience to meet people from all around the world and be responsible in part of their experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach any language I am fluent in, how to play chess, etc. The "etc." is an attempt to hide my limited skills.

One of the things I would really love to learn how to do is fishing.
A second thing I would really want to learn how to do is cooking typical meals from the countries I visit. Its a way of knowing a better the local culture and in the end it acts like a free souvenir
