Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I need to get out and see more of the world. I don't wish to see it behind shiny hotel windows, but from the perspective of local people.

England doesn't offer very much, but where it does is very expensive and quite frankly everywhere else looks more worth my money and time. (I have a feeling it's going to cost me more money to get to the airports than most of my flights will cost!)

I also need more of a drive to learn foreign languages. Being a typical British national, I don't speak much other languages so don't tolerate me in English too much!

Interests

I'm a musician in a Death Metal band while being a student. Retail worker in the holidays.

I love cooking so I'd love to sample new cuisine and take home ideas!

I like mindfulness things such as meditation and yoga.

If you have pets I'd love to learn how you keep them. I come from a family without any pets and I do want to own a dog one day.

I also like to dabble in my interests of steam railways so there are any old heritage railway sites, point them out to me!

Paranormal activity sounds interesting too!

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a metalhead. I love underground cult extreme & heavy metal.

(Bands like Morbid Angel, Incantation, Bolt Thrower, Death, Entombed etc)

I play guitar in a Death Metal band. Not to say I am remotely aggressive or grumpy! I am very open to other music and interests! I love dance/funk/soul music too as my alternate self!

I hardly watch films or read as I'm always listening to much music.
