Hello, I`m Vasily. Was born in the small military city on the Russian Far East. Now I based in China. A few last years I fall in love with road. Since that time I had a three big trip through China, South-East Asia and Russia. I was on the 6000 meters above the sea level, I saw three desert (Gobi, Taklamakan, Karakum) at summer and winter, I cross over 8 thousand km by hitch-hiking, finish success crowd-founding company for travel through Sakhalin Island.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I really like people. Travel for me more about people, even if I going to unhabitad place :) So, couch surfing - better way for meet new friends, new ideas and new world!

兴趣

In addition to travel, or travel in addition, I don`t know. I really interested in visual arts and new technologies. At last year I launch few projects about that. One is OddCinema.com, where I research new way of communication between spectator and cinema (how we can use new technologies like virtual reality and interactive cinema, also how we can attract people to participate in process of movie making). Second one is progressivearts.org, where I with my friends study art consumption and thinking about how we can improve spectators experience. By the side I still work in photography and cinematography. Now I work on the my first book and preparing for two exhibitions at next year. Also I very interesting in Artificial Intelligence and how we can use it in art and in our life.

Also, sometimes I make brand and design, develop web sites and so on. At my free time (yes, I have a bit :) ) i like do some thing with my hand, handcraft leather things, tattoo and etc.
