ABOUT ME

i ate testicle soup once. I'm slightly shorter than people that are taller than I am. Amongst my limited virtues is a complete inability to take most things seriously. When fat people trip on something, I generally have little or no reservations about laughing. I learn languages quickly, but forget them even quicker. I'm of the opinion that food tastes better when it has meat in it. I dislike shaving, but do it because if I don't, I get stopped in airports. I read more than I sleep. I wear ties a lot. My favourite brand of car is the almighty Trabant, since it is a mixture my two favourite things... mediocre engines and bathtubs. Oh, I'm also awesome.

PHILOSOPHY

When in the Balkans, listen more than you talk. When in Canada, talk about the Balkans. When in London, try not to feel too poor. When in Pakistan, try not to feel too rich. When in Switzerland, get the fuck out before you die of poverty and boredom. Love those that have killed, love those that haven't. Eat a lot, cook a lot, drink a lot, smoke a lot, dance a lot, laugh a lot. Read everything, learn as much as you can. Don't fart in the company of diplomats.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate by spreading my awesomeness, distributing it evenly amongst everyone I meet. If adding an extra couch to the community counts as a contribution, call me Mother Teresa.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed on a few private and public couches (read: benches). I usually exchange my cooking skills for the kindness of those willing to let me sleep in their homes or 50 feet within their presence.

Never, and I mean NEVER, confuse a regular leaf with poison ivy when you run out of toilet paper in the wilderness. Bears are cute in theory, in reality they are cute and can kill you. Women are like bears, except they look waaaay better naked. Eat your vegetables. Cheese and chocolate make anything taste better.
