ABOUT ME

I am open-minded person who loves travelling and discovering new cultures, places and meeting new people(what a cliché here on CS but it is true!)Already done with my studies eventhough still thinking about studying somethink else to broaden my mindset and knowledge of course:-)However during work week I am every day at work till 6PM and then I do my hobbies but still I am glad to go for a drink or beer to have a interesting chat e.g. about traveling:-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Once I am back from my big trip in South America where I used CS a lot, I try to participate also here in Prague to either help or host travelers.
So far I hosted Matt from US and Fernanda from Brazil, Mathieu from France and Ibrahim from Turkey.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It is one year when I started (in Brazil) with CS and in many ways it changed my view of travelling and also in same part even of thinking. I started with CS in Brazil in Floripa, than I continued in Bolivia, Peru and Argentina and I have only the best experience so far!Now I am trying to find out if people in Europe are the same generous and nice as people in South America:-) Hope I will continue also in Prague, both hosting CSers and showing them the beautiful Capital of Czech republic.

Interests

Music!! is my biggest interest. Nowadays I am really in to a Gotan Project which is tango music mixed with electro. Recently I found Astor Piazzolla to whom I felt in love and I guess I will never leave him:-))Of course I am also discovering the brazilian music which I simply love because it is filling me with so much energy :-)or melancholy when I listen to Chico Buarque. However I also like Morcheeba, Jamie Cullum, Jack Johnson, Jason Mraz, Asian Dub Fundation and also some " old pieces" like Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Yes, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Nina Simone, Ella Fitzgerald, George Gerwschin etc.. I play piano therefore Chopin, Rachmaninov, Satie and Ravel are also part of my collection. Recently I fullfilled finally my second dream (the first was travelling in South America) and bought new piano and from that moment I am stick to it as a fly on sugar:-)
During my free time I read a lot, do snowboarding and also dancing (Forro here in Brazil:-))and salsa and flamenco back in Czech.

Music, Movies, and Books

Old italian movies are the best! Especially from Fellini!However I like Woody Alan´s and Tarantino movies - e.g.Four rooms:-)Kubrick as well (the Shining).

The book which I am reading right now is Japanese book from Haruki Murakami, but I am gonnna buy some books soon by Charles Bukowski to cheer me up!:-)
And even though all Brazilians think he is really bad writer I really love Paulo Coelho and especially his book Eleven minutes and Zahir.

My future plans are to read at least one book from Kafka but I don´t know whether I have enough patience to it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The best thing is travelling therefore the best (or worst?:-) thing I have ever experienced was during my trip in South America..crossing Peruvian-Bolivian border one winter morning..
