ABOUT ME

I'll try anything twice. I love to laugh as long and hard as possible - get those endorphins flowing!

I have a very small tattoo, because I'm too chicken to have a bigger one.

I like spending time with people and I like being alone. I'm happy with a good balance of both. As long as I get my quota of laughter each day then I'm a happy bunny.

PHILOSOPHY

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've had the pleasure of surfing across Europe in summer 2010 and during a three month trip in 2013 up the West coast of USA and various other trips. I also host sometimes, but sadly my current accommodation and pet situation doesn't allow me to host anyone.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experience has been really positive and I've met some great people and seen, experienced and discussed things I never would have done without CS.

Interests

Travelling, reading, music, gigs, festivals, skiing (badly), spending time with great friends old and new, being outdoors, enjoying the British countryside, yoga, crafts, and meditating.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music, though my tastes are mostly stuck in a time warp around 1996-99: Lemon Jelly, Hybrid, Radiohead (early stuff), Mansun, Eels, Badly Drawn Boy, Primal Scream,Massive Attack, Doves, Hard-Fi, Muse, Leftfield.

My favourite books are:
Sky Burial, The Farm, The Road to Nab End, Red Dust, The Good Women of China, Stark, Behind the Scenes at the Museum, The Bookseller of Kabul, White Teeth, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Solomon Time and Wild Swans.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Canoeing in the Florida everglades, hand-feeding a giraffe, and seeing orcas in the wild have to be up there on the list!

I've been in Leeds for a few years now, so I know quite a bit about the city, in particular where to eat out, or nice cafes to hang out.
