Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started my CS experience in Seattle, and it couldn't be better. From that point on I had the privilege to be hosted by such great people and through those people had the chance to meet many more.
After that I have attended meetings in Brazil and Germany.

Music, Movies, and Books

There is this website last.fm which logs all songs you listen in your computer. Pretty awesome, so if you want to check which music I am into, check it out: http://www.lastfm.com.br/user/vcarlos/library. (it's a bit outdated now though!)

I really like to watch movies and I don't try to stick with one style. As someone passionate about music I like very much movies that somehow are about music, for example:

Almost Famous, Buena Vista Social Club, Rock Star, The Wonders, School of Rock, Crossroads (not the one with Britney Spears, please, hahaha)

A movie that I find particularly touching is Into the Wild. The soundtrack is amazing.

I am also a huge fan of Tolkien's work, so I read basically every book he wrote and liked the films as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There is a place in Brazil called Chapada Diamantina, in Bahia. That is a MUST SEE place if you like nature.

I can teach portuguese and how to play guitar (at basic level at least).
