Greetings! My name is Veasna Lim and I'm just someone who's looking for excitement and stories that I can share with other people. I want to have as many "this one time I was..." moment as possible before I have to leave this world. I'm also a photographer so I will be wanting to capture the moments as well as having the story. It would be great to put it all in a book one day.

I find that when traveling there is only one real way of getting a feel for where you are and that's to find/meet the locals that are a part of the community that you are traveling in. I want to get the local's experience where ever I may be visiting and not that of a tourist. Couch-surfing is a great way to do this.

Interessi

I have many interests in my life but I will share 3 of which that are most important to me. Photography, music, and arts. When traveling, I want to make sure I absorb as much of the three as possible. I want to photograph the nouns (people, places, and things) of where ever I am. I want to listen the many sounds and music that takes inspiration form the city I am at. And lastly, to see what the artist sees in their everyday life, through their eyes which is reflected in their work. .

I feel that the most we (as people) can offer in term of teach, learn, and share are our experience. Therefore that is what I value the most when Interacting with other people. We all have experience and wisdom that are unique to only ourselves and that's what I love to do is learn and try to understand about others. Also I can share my photographs.

If permitted, I would like to share with the host what its like to be where I came from. When couch-surfing, I feel like its is often seen as a way to explore and learn about new things/ places. But that sense does not only apply to the couch-surfer but also the host. I find this is also a chance for the host to learn about where the couch-surfer came from. Maybe the host may have never been there or heard about where the couch-surfer is from. So it goes both ways and that's what I want to share with those who host me as well.
