I'm an animal, nature, art and music lover. I don't smoke or do drugs. Ironically, my heart and most of my spare time goes toward helping the homeless. Now, I'm about to become one, along with my two pets.

Three years ago, I started Blankets to the Streets, while in the DC area. People were literally freezing to death on the same streets where I've seen people pick up stray animals. I couldn't just ignore it, so I found a way to buy waterproof and heat reflective blankets to help prevent and recover from hypothermia.

I began passing the blankets out on my commute and one day a man came up to me and told me he thought the blanket I'd given him had saved his life. He asked to help pass them out and I realized this needed to happen.

Blankets to the Streets just celebrated our three year anniversary and more than 50,000 blankets handed out, nationwide.

I love cooking and and have taught both adults and kids how to cook. I also love photography and am happy to take portraits or teach the basics of DSLR photography.
