too many to list and my interests are varied, but ultimately: I LOVE Bjork, Radiohead, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Outkast. Books by Joyce Carol Oates, Flannery O'Connor, Paulo Coelho, etc. The best movies are international movies from China, France, Germany, Mexico, Spain, etc.

Going home again after defecting from Communist Laos, 25 years later; meeting my uncle and aunt whom I never remembered knowing, understanding the roots of where I came from.
