CURRENT MISSION

Soy originario del norte de Finlandia (hace frío!), pero mi alma se descongeló en Latinoamérica. Llevo más de 10 años trabajando online y ahora estoy construyendo mi propia startup.

Mi misión actual es vivir la vida al MEXIMO. En búsqueda de nada, solamente buenas vibras y fluyendo de esta vida.

Originally from the frozen north of Finland, but I consider myself a citizen of the world. I’ve been working online for +10 years (recruiting) as a freelance and trying to rediscover the B2B sales from my past.

My current mission is to live life to the MEXIMO. In search of good vibes and friendships that last lifetime, we all have a purpose on this journey.

Olvida el estereotipo del finlandés tímido. Soy la excepción a la regla. Soy muy extrovertido, me encanta la gente y siempre digo que sí a una aventura espontánea.

Forget the stereotype of the quiet, shy Finns. I’m an extrovert, but I thrive in 1to1 interactions. I find it easy to connect with people. I love on spontaneous adventures and hearing people's life stories.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

No soy el mejor planificador del mundo (viva la espontaneidad!), así que CS es perfecto para mí. Me gusta ver el mundo a través de las personas, no de las guías turísticas.

He hospedado, he surfeado y he ido a cientos de hangouts. Sé cómo funciona esto: respeto, comunidad y buenas charlas.

I’m not the world's best planner (I travel extremely spontaneously), but I love connecting. I use CS to see the world through your eyes. I’ve hosted and surfed enough to know the drill: respect, community, and bring good energy.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Fui voluntario 4 meses en un refugio para niños en Oaxaca y también pasé días como voluntario dentro de la cárcel local.

En Perú, escalé la montaña Putukusi (junto a Machu Picchu). Lo mejor no fue la vista, sino convencer a un viajero mexicano que estaba agotado para que no se rindiera. Llegamos a la cima juntos y su cara de felicidad fue lo mejor del viaje!

I volunteered for 4 months at a children's safety house in Oaxaca de Juarez, Mexico and also spent time volunteering in the local jail.

I climbed Putukusi mountain in Peru. The highlight wasn't the view, but encouraging a fellow traveler who was exhausted and ready to quit. We made it to the top together, seeing his face at the summit was better than the scenery.

Recruiting Hacks: Tengo 13 años en reclutamiento. Si estás buscando trabajo, puedo revisar tu CV y podemos hablar sobre la tema laboral. Me interesa tanto como la sistema laboral funciona en diferentes partes del mundo.

Travel Hacking: Soy un nerd de los vuelos. Sé cómo encontrar rutas baratas y trucos que las aerolíneas no quieren que sepas.

Rollerblading: Casi siempre viajo con mis patines. Si tienes ruedas (bici, skate, patines), vamos a rodar por la ciudad!

Cultura Finlandesa: Traigo la puntualidad y honestidad finlandesa, pero con la buena onda latina.

The value I bring to the Hangouts:

Recruiting Hacks: I have 13 years of experience. If you are job hunting, I can check your CV and give you inside what should be upgraded. (On the house, obviously).

Travel Hacking: I’m a flight nerd. I know how to find cheap routes and tricks airlines don't want you to know.

Rollerblading: I almost always travel with my blades. If you have wheels (bike, skate, blades), let's ride through the city!

Finnish Culture: I bring Finnish punctuality and honesty, but with a relaxed Latin vibe.

Intercambio Cultural & Filosofía:

Me fascina el contraste entre mi origen (Finlandia: orden, silencio, frío) y mi hogar elegido (Latinoamérica: caos, ruido, calor). Me encanta debatir sobre estas diferencias.

Puedo enseñarte algunas palabras en finés (el idioma más difícil del mundo, dicen) y quiero que tú me enseñes el slang local más sucia que tengas.

Como dije antes: El pasado ya fue. El futuro no existe. Solo tenemos el "ahora". Vamos a aprovecharlo!

Cultural Exchange & Philosophy:

I’m fascinated by the contrast between where I’m from (Finland: order, silence, cold) and my chosen home (Latin America: chaos, noise, warmth). I love debating these differences over a drink.

I can teach you some Finnish words (supposedly the hardest language in the world), and I want you to teach me the best local slang you have.

As I said before: You can't change the past, and you can't predict the future. We only have right now. Let's own it.
