I'm currently studying a Masters degree in Development and International Development at the Univeristy of Jyvaskyla in Finland. Originally I'm from Helsinki, Finland, but I moved to the U.K. when I was very young so i completed almost all of my education in England but have now returned back to Finland to finish my studies.

I'm very sociable, friendly and outgoing. I have had quite a bit of international experience from travelling in my spare time and also taking part in student exchange programs in high school and at university. I really love travelling, gaining new experiences and meeting new people from all kinds of different backgrounds. So far, I've been extremely lucky to be able to travel as much as I have and to have been able to meet so many amazing people from all over the world. I feel very blessed and grateful for all these opportunities and hope to continue in the same way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Me and a close friend who I met during my student exchange semester in Australia a few years ago, have decided to do some travelling around Italy for around two weeks. We are hoping to spend a few days and few nights in four or five different locations and really looking to meet some interesting people who can perhaps show us around and help us really experience Italy.

Interests

I love travelling, learning about history and culture, meeting different people, trying different types of foods, listening and dancing to great music and trying different kinds of sports and outdoor activities.

My music taste is very wide, if I like the song I like the song without paying too much attention to the genre or artist. I love lots of different films but one of my all time favourites is Gladiator.
