HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've often lived with travelers who have hosted a few couchsurfers. Now that school is wrapping up, and I have more free time, I'm giving this a try!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Mostly my roommates hosting people here and there. I'll update this part as I start traveling and hosting though!

Interests

I'm interested in grassroots political and community building movements.
critical theory, social and environmental justice, feminist and queer theory etc
I'm also very interested in alternative health care - mostly inspired by Chinese medicine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've done - or lived through I should say - was the student strike in Quebec that took place in the spring (and will hopefully continue in the fall). Although I've moved out of the province, I remain inspired by the courage, resilience, and optimism of students and others involved in this now popular movement. There's nothing quite like marching through downtown Montreal, at night, illegally, with 10,000+ people!!

I'm a good photographer... know my way around photo and video editing software pretty well.
I would like to keep learning about social movements and political organizing. Looking forward to seeing what San Fran has to offer!
I'm also interested in learning about Chinese medicine - this is my next project!
