I spend my free time, all of it, entertaining friends who fly to Hawaii to visit me; hiking to waterfalls, reading, drinking Big Wave Lager, and going to the beach.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meet different people, provide a safe place for those who like to travel, and do some traveling of my own. I live in Hawaii, which is full of tourists and people waiting to take financial advantage of tourists. I can show people the cheap, safe, and beautiful spots.

Interests

I go to the beach every week. Sometimes to read, sometimes to cry, sometimes with dogs and friends.
I go on hikes to find snails, see waterfalls, and admire trees.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent two months in a survivalist training "camp." I had a small bottle of chlorine, a pocket knife, some rope, a bottle of water and flint/steel. Hardest two months I've ever had. Best two months I've ever had.

I garden, bike, sew, and know skills for survival in the wilderness. I'd be happy to swap stories and skills.
