ABOUT ME

I am a grad student at Vanderbilt studying sociology. I love to cook. I love to talk about food and rant about politics. I believe in grassroots organizing and people helping people. Working at a non-profit made me believe that that is the only way the world will change (and a little bit pessimistic about finding sources). It also made me critical of the Non-profit industrial complex as true social change.

I now do research and read lots of book. I like to go to shows when I can.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love meeting people and showing them around. I rarely explore so getting to do it with people is great.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I and my housemates have hosted a few couch surfers and I am excited to start traveling more.

兴趣

Feminist and queer theory. I talk about it all day every day.

This summer, I am going to be making moonshine in the woods. I'm making a homemade still and I hope it will be delicious.

Social research fascinates me. I have been working in sexual health for many years now and am starting to do research on it. It is one of my favorite things to talk about.

I try to work hard to live in a more sustainable way and am always looking for ways to make my life more in harmony with the earth.
