ABOUT ME

I've finished my first level degree on November 2007.
I've worked for 3 years for a company who deals with Outdoor projects, in my hometown. Now I just teach swimming (I do that since 2002).
My only real big passion is travelling, discovering more than I can in this beautiful world and enjoy all the most interesting people!
I've lived 2 months in London in 2008, I've travelled 2 months in Australia and lived 3 months in Dublin in 2009, I've travelled in Central America for 2 months in 2012: these experiences opened my mind so much!
I absolutely don't know what I want to do in my life, I'm opened to every possibility, but of course I wanna TRAVEL!!!! (so.. I probably need to win lottery..)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I really enjoy both the CS experiences, hosting and surfing, and I love to share with new friends experiences, cultures, languages... everything that sounds new to me!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have to say that every single time was a wonderful experience!
I really think that CS it's the best invention EVER to travel in a very funny way, and not only cheap. You can really TASTE and ENJOY a new city, or a new country.

I'm a deep lover of cinema, so i like many movies.
The Lord of the Rings (movie and book), Into the wild, Amelie, Eternal sunshine, Closer, almost every movie of Woody Allen, Quentin Tarantino, Hichcock and Almodovar, Memento, Canone Inverso, Before Sunset, Secretary, Sleepers, Black cat white cat, Iron 3........
About music: Swing & Jazz in general above all, but also Rock, Progressive Rock and movie soundtracks... Live music in general; I particulary like Tracy Chapman, De Gregori, Paolo Conte and much more.
Some of my favourite writers: Isabelle Allende, (especially "The house of the spirits", "Eva Luna" and "The Infinite Plan"); G.G.Marquez ("100 years of solitude"); "The Shadow of the Wind" by C.R.Zafon; Schmitt ("Oscar and the Lady in pink"); Tolkien; Arundhati Roy ("The God of Small Things"); Hosseini Khaled, Sandor Marai...... and so on.

AMAZING THING SEEN:
1)COUNTRIES.
First of all.... Australia! I left my heart there!! Favourite places in Oz: Lake Mckenzie in Fraiser Island, Canyon in the desert, Whitsunday and its cyclon, botanic garden in Adelaide, Bribie island (best sunset EVER seen) and Tasmania... cherry on top! (my lip piercing it was done there, to remember that lovely island...)
Elba island (Tuscany, Italy): I've been going there since I was born, my ashes will be dust there!! :)
Ireland: Cliff of Moher, Giant's Causeway.
Morocco: Merzouga seen from the top of a sand dune.
Mexico: the "Cenotes" and San Cristobal de las Casas.
Belize: Caye Caulker.
Guatemala: Semuc Champei (its pools and the dangerous wild cave!) and Lake Atitlan.
Malaysia: Palau Perhentian & Mabul.
Bali (Indonesia): Ubud.

2)PEOPLE.
My first nephew at the hospital, born a few minutes before.
Both my nephews swimming with me in the swimming pool at the age of.... a few months :)

3)ANIMALS.
The enormous shark whales of 12-15 meters I swam with in Yucatan (Mexico) for half an hour and 1 meter of distance.
The big turtle I've seen laid her eggs on a Mexican beach, at nightime.
The huge turtle I swam with in Whitsunday (Australia), staying attached to her shell.
The wombat, the tasmanian devil, the koalas (Australia) and the wallaby on the white beach of Wineglass Bay (Tasmania).
The coral reef sharks and much more in Malaysia, especially the Flamoyant Cuttlefish and the Blue Ringed Octopus.
The (about) 30 dolphins in Lampedusa, counting also some little one! (island under Sicily).

AMAZING THING DONE:
- Found the courage to travel alone (and join CS).
- Loved the few people I've loved (lovers, friends, family).
- Gone with the bicycle with my 1-year-old nephew in town, in a summer day.
- Spent a few hour laughing with my best friend, for no reason.
- Decided that the present is the only important thing in life.

I teach swimming to children and adults since 2002.. and I'm a very good teacher ;)
Recently I started to teach Swing dance to beginners.
I'm learning a better spanish and Swing dance that I love above all.
