ABOUT ME

I'm a person that really loves other cultures and especially languages. I can't get enough of cultural exchange! I am very open minded, and optimistic! Maybe even idealistic ;)

I would say I'm very friendly, honest, and dependable. I'm almost never late. Pretty darn trust-worthy. Jack of all trades and interested in almost everything. I like to know random things about all sorts of places/things. I prefer to go with the flow and be peaceful. I am also a vegetarian.

Life in general is very beautiful, if we look at it all so simply. I find myself amazed everyday and feel that I can learn from every situation I'm in.

PHILOSOPHY

Pretty much any Buddhist quote I agree with wholeheartedly.. I'll give you a few of my favorites.

"It is better to travel well than to arrive."
"Hatred does not cease with hatred but only by love, this is the eternal rule."
"have compassion for all beings, rich and poor alike; each has their suffering. Some suffer too much, others suffer too little."
"He is able who thinks he is able."

Tons of other great ones but I think those are really great. I just believe that no one is here to judge and we should try to be like the river ever-flowing and allowing change, as this is the one thing we can rely on.

Movies: Hmm.. all kinds. I like action, some drama, mostly comedy and really don't like horror at all. Suspense is fine but slasher, gory, psychological thriller (well this one depends) isn't my style at all.

Music: Mostly anything, I like reggae, alternative, techno/trance, music in foreign languages (this pushes me to learn the language), some Japanese music(Yoshida Brothers are good!), A.R. Rahman (Indian Music is great!), instrumentals such as spanish guitar and banjo!

Books? Philosophy, books about culture, fantasy.. etc. :)

I like to talk about Buddhist thought, and just Eastern philosophy; Taoism.. Chi etc.. It's all fascinating to me. I'd be happy to discuss all sorts of things and hopefully learn from that and teach what I have learned.
