I'm 23 year old student from Latvia. Interesting story about my life is that I was born and raised in Russia, but then me and my family have moved to my fathers motherland Latvia. That made me interested in learning different cultures and countries. In my age I also had a chance to live some time in other countries such as Germany (in Hamburg) and United States of America (as a Work and Travel participator in Enterprise, Alabama)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to travel very much, but as you may understand student funds are not that big to afford doing it to much. And the second reason is that I'm really talkative and interested in everything, but who may tell more about his/her country then person living there.

Interests

I'm in favor of doing more active sports like snowboarding, rollerskating, bicycling and even scuba diving. But somedays I am also the one who is sitting with the book reading about the places and times that are faar away :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I am fully melomanic... I just can't listen to one style of the music all the time. So if in one moment I am listening to pop music this doesn't mean that I won't listen for rock (techno, rap, folk, metal, classic) in the next one

About the books I am more conservative, I like old time novels and different travel descriptions (both new and historical ones)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One story I like very much is when I made a long ride across United States (from Alabama to New Jersey) to meet my childhood friend. I haven't heard from him anything for 11 years (he is not Skype person). So the day I met him was one of the brightest ones in the last few years.

Teach, Learn, Share

My learning story is very long... and this is because I never knew what I wanted to do. I learnt electrical engineering in University, but I was never sure that this is something I wanted to do. So while learning I visited a lot of language courses, took Salsa and Bachata lessons got myself a motorcycle licence and a lot of different interesting stuff :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

While being a guest I am trying to act respectful to the people who give me a place to live... so a lot of interesting story teller, interested listener and free cleaning person will be included ^_^
