Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because I love meeting all different kinds of people who I otherwise might not easily get in touch with. I'm interested in people's views on life and really like chatting about it, also or maybe even especially, when these are a bit different from mine. In short: personally, I think travelling is way more fun and interesting when meeting new people, than being in solitude in a hotel-room.

I'm also on couchsurfing from a practical point of view. I'm about to start my masters studies in Ghent, but only have my room (co-housing), starting from the 1st of October. Therefore I would like to combine the necesarrity of finding a rooftop above my head in Ghent in the mean time, with the fun of meeting some new people!
