Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I've planned my next trip to go backpacking in Ireland, I'd love to meat with locals to really get into the culture, finding the most beautiful places and maybe even making some good friends.

As I'm currently living with my parents, I'm not hosting yet. But I would love to return the favor back when I find my own home ;), which in all probability will be in this year.

Interests

Travel interests:

My main interest for traveling is hiking. I love being in the wilderness and visiting the most beautiful places in nature. In the mountains or just hills, and staying close to the coastline, as I also like to swim in the sea. But of course, once being in a city, I'd also like to go for some cultural activities (but not too much ;) ).

General interests:

Generally I love music in all its forms. At home I play in a Brassband on cornet (similar to a trumpet). And if you have a guitar, or anything else to jam on, please don't hesitate to use it, as I also love singing along or just listening to jam sessions. When I'm in a city I'd like to visit music festivals or some nice dancing bars, as I also love to dance ;).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've done is definitly one of the cabin trips in Norway. With a group of students we went to a cabin which was totally in the middle-of-nowhere!
