ABOUT ME

Hi there! I'm Vera. I haven't seen much of the world yet. I'm 23 years young and I think it's about time to make some changes ;-)
At the moment I'm studying Social Work at Ghent, I like to socialize, try new things and being open-minded. I also like to laugh a lot.
In the weekends and vacations I work as a waitress in a tearoom/hotel in Veurne (where I live with my parents).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have already surfed once this winter and I'm planning to couchsurf more in the furture. At the moment I live in a 16m² room in Ghent where I'm studying, so I don't really have the space to host. Though when I'm graduated and have my own place I definitely want to host too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to this, but I definitly want to try it out! My first CouchSurf experience was really amazing so i'm ready to explore some more!

Interests

I have played the guitar for several years. I learned to play the acoustic guitar at a music school and the electric guitar by myself. But you shouldn't expect too much ;-)
I just love music. I first went to a festival at the age of 18 and I never stopped going. A good festival is definitly the most enjoyable thing in life for me!
I love to read too. But since I study in Ghent I don't have much time to read books anymore, though I continue to read magazines and the newspaper. I just like to hear/read about the latest news.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: (costume)drama, thriller, romantic (for example: Great Expectations, Elephant, 1408,...)
Music: Indie rock, alternative rock, dubstep, drum and bass, and a lot more! (for example: KT Tunstall, Daan, Eva De Roovere,...)
Books: I read to relax, so nothing intellectual :-)
