ABOUT ME

Our good friends Eli&Niki are passionate couchsurfers and very often we have met the people they hosted and have had a great time with them. Previously we didn't have an opportunity to host surfers, but now we are living together in our own apartment and have enough space and comfortable conditions.
We know each other since 2010 and have lived together since 2012. We are extremely fond of mountain hiking and love spending as much time as possible surrounded by nature. Bulgaria is blessed with wonderful nature and we are open to show and hike together with surfers who are also interested in that. We are also very keen on Bulgarian folklore, we both dance Bulgarian national dances, Vera plays the tapan (a kind of a drum instrument). We are interested in nature protection and are active participants in different campaigns and volunteer actions. Vera is passionate about city farming. In our new apartment we are trying to build up container beds to grow vegetables. We are interested in pottery and have visited a pottery class for some time. In general, we like to travel a lot, to discover new things, and to meet new people with different cultures.
Vera is a vegetarian, doesn't smoke, and drinks very little alcohol. Benji smokes a little, eats meat (rarely) and likes to drink beer and wine.

PHILOSOPHY

Vera: Be humble and good-hearted, try to do no harm to other living things, try to see beyond the material and find the spiritual meaning.
Benji: I live my life because it was given to me.
