ABOUT ME

I'm one of those California transplants in Portland. I brought my garden and acupuncture skills with me, along with a passion for Gamelan. I live in a nice big house with 5 interesting ladies, one of whom is my partner. My dog Mutsu gets plenty of love and affection here too.

My house hosts many people, though not necessarily through this website. We have our hands full lately with visitors!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Most recently, my relocation to Portland was made much more smooth by a host who has continued to be a trusted friend and ally with the community acupuncture clinic I run. I also found my current residence through this site and have been glad to stay cozy in this home for about 3 years.
I've been letting people crash on my comfy futoned floor (never actually made that commitment to get a couch or a bed frame for that matter) for as long as I've had a space to share. I've also done a bit of hitch hiking and couch surfing myself, mostly when I lived in Santa Cruz and when I visited New Zealand. This last June I was lucky enough to stay with some lovely people while I visited the NorthWest on an exploratory relocation road trip. While I was away, an acquaintance of mine surfed my futon while weighing her relocation options and stayed for some fun even after my return.
