Resumen
Sobre mí
ABOUT ME
I moved to Buenos Aires a couple of weeks ago to study Corporate Social Responsibility, which I had to google the first time I read about the course, but has turned out to be extremely interesting. I've studied and done some volunteer work concerning sustainable development, globalization, Fair Trade and development issues and I'm very interested in politics in general.
I have a raging coffee addiction, a mediocre sense of direction (made worse by my overconfidence in my sense of direction) and I´m terrible with remebering faces and names..
And I'm genuinely interested in understanding and bonding with other people, as sappy and cliché as that sounds. This is mostly, what I want to get out of travelling.
PHILOSOPHY
"An airplane construction is merely complicated, a mayoneise is complex"

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I only recently joined so I haven't participated much yet. I'm interested in meeting other people while I'm out travelling and would like to host when I eventually settle down.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I don't have much, but it seems great so far!

Algo increíble que he hecho
In the beginning of 2009 I was in Orissa in the northeast of India doing an anthropology project with my school. We stayed in a village near Chilika Lake, and our last day there a couple of friends and I were invited to a double wedding (two brothers were getting married the same day) in another village where we had spent a lot of time working, mostly doing interviews with people. The village was located on an island, so you had to go by a small wooden motor boat across the lake to get there. The wedding party started late in the evening, so when we got out on the lake it was pitch dark and completely quiet except for the sounds from the motor. The sky was completely clear and the stars were enormous. During the day the family of the grooms had rigged a huge sound system in the center of the village, so when we sat in the boat and looked out in the dark and up at the stars we could hear the music from the wedding grow louder and louder. That was incredible.
