I was born in Russia, have lived in the US for close to 15 years now, and the last 8 of those I spent in Buffalo - a city I grew to love.

Just started on couchsurfing - hope to participate more.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted and stayed with couchsurfing members before but it happened by friendship or word of mouth, most recently this summer.

Interests

Dancing salsa (bachata, chacha, kizomba, tango... I just love dance), being outdoors, hiking, being barefoot, nighttime, rain, and learning traditional cooking methods and recipes from different cultures, fermenting things, no-grape wine, collecting music, rivers and open water, nature photography, my snake. Friends make it all better.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music (mostly latin music). I love movies, but if I had a choice I would do something active. Unless it's late and there's good food and friends involved. Books are addictive.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was on a boat in Bulgaria once where the man piloted it through shallow water around cliffs. While sitting on the roof.

I hope to have more travel experiences to match this one.
