About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Stay weird and live free.

ABOUT ME

I'm easy-going, I like to be outdoors/ in the nature. It's a neverending beauty!
I'm down-to-earth (most of the time ;)) and always up for doing fun stuff and trying out new things. I like beer (as well as coffee and water!!) and enjoy long walks (hiking) as well as long talks at the bar or in the kitchen obout lifestyles, culture or why the giraffe has a blue tongue.

PHILOSOPHY

"Who are we, if not measured by our impact on others? That's who we are! We are not who we say we are, we're not who we want to be - we are the sum of the influence and impact that we have, in our lives, on others." -Somebody smart once said this. I think it's a great way of seein the meaning of life. But I myself am still working on getting there...

The proof of the pudding is in the eating.

Immer nur zu hause hocken
macht langsam Schimmel an den Socken.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far, I've enjoyed the hospitality of so many really cool people by surfing their couches.
I'm hoping to have a flat on my own soon, so I can welcome couchsurfers in my home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first expieriences with CouchSurfing were in Israel, where a friend paired us up with sooo many hospitable people. I was impressed and made my own account right away!

Interests

I think you can put your mind into almost anything if you really want to. well, and then you can add some passion

Music, Movies, and Books

Mostly Indie music, electronic and Techno for clubs, but that doesn't happen all that oftenThe Knife, Northern Lite, Junip, The Cure, Feist, Fever Ray, Skunk Anansie

Movies: Spotlight, Kick Ass, The Inception, Wer früher stirbt ist länger tod
Scrubs!

Books: S. Abulhawa: Mornings in Jenin; philosophy books (but I'm such a slow reader)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Snowboarding thru breast-deep powder in the swiss alps. fresh snow in general with just nature surrounding you is always pretty awe-inspiring. I call that snow goose feeling.

Watch my 12-years-younger sisters growing up.

Glowing seas (spectacular blue flashes-a type of bioluminescence-that are visible at night in some marine environments)- it's magical!!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to learn new card games. And anything that has to do with crafts.

Teach me anything new! Learning new stuff is sooo much fun. Last thing I learnt was skiing this winter.

Hm, I could teach you how to juggle or do a cardwheel or the splits (that might hurt though ;) ).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can bake a cake for you. Or fancy some crepes?
