My name is Vera but most of my friends call me Bird. I'm a nomad, graphic designer, illustrator and cyclist.
Travelling takes a huge part in my life. I've been travelling since my 16, now I'm travelling with my beloved partner. We are all full of desire to challenge the life and bring some good vibes to it.

I found hotels, closed spa resorts and touristic paths are such a waste of time. There is nothing can beat a nice and warm conversation with locals, crazy celebration of someones wedding in wild mountains and riding your bike downhill. Couchsurfing for me is the way to share our stories and experience, way to help each other and support. I usually stay with my tent or at the back of a car but sometimes we all need "a roof" above our heads even if for a few hours.
I really appreciate that people created, developed and let us connect in a such big and helpful network.

Talking about my passions I can say that cycling and swimming have stolen my heart for last two years. ALso I do a lot of art such as painting, knitting and sculpture.
