Get to know a place is not about seeing all those seeightseeing stuff and take thousand of picture to show them at home later on. Its about meeting people, who live there, its about learning about how life goes there. Its not about what you have seen, but what you have experienced.
I'm a city girl, because I love to be in the middle of different cultures, scenes, groups, people...everything :) But as I grew up in a small village, I still need to escape from the busy places from time to time and enjoy the silence and peace of nature. That's why my favourite travel spots are the Alps and Africa, two totally different places but I could not decide which I like more.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing, because lots of my friends do couchsurfing and they only have good things to tell, so they made me curious :)
I like the concept of meeting knew people everywhere in the world and not just be tourist, but also experience daily live at the place you visit.

Interests

As I'm an art therapist my greatest interest is art. Going to exhibitions as well as making art by myself. Expecially video, photography and performance art. Further I like hiking and reading. As these interests don't involve that much interacting with other people I need to compensate it with meeting friends/others and explore the world to get new inspiration ;)
