About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Being able to live from doing what I like to do most.

ABOUT ME

I'm an unexperienced couch-surfer but love the travelling-culture I already had a little taste of in Australia.

I like to draw and make art, sing, play the piano and the guitar, lie around in my hammock, meet new people, be on the beach, hang out with friends, cook new things and eat them, watch seinfeld and sometimes other sitcoms, learn new things, listen to music, dance, other cultures and languages, and animals.

I'm funny, creative, spontaneous and usually happy.

PHILOSOPHY

If I knew my personal philosophy my head would be thoughtless.

I live my life because I excist and I'd like to make it enjoyable for myself and others.

In order to enjoy you should be able to learn from things in the past.

My feelings are rarely steady, but at the moment I'm content and it's summer so I'll be happy for a while :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed one couch myself, and I have had a couple of couchsurfers here. I'm glad to host people - I'm here anyway, so why not help someone out. I think this is a great medium to get to know people from all over the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As I mentioned once in Brisbane I forgot the keys to my own place so fortunately I just met Adam who kindly offered me to stay at his place for one night which I did. There were also about 5 other couch sufers and I had a great time, thanks Adam :)

My experience with people sleeping on my couch is overall good, it's fun to meet new people and I have had no complaints about my couch ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lots of things!
Sziget Festival was amazing, couple of years ago. Walking a few days in Hong Kong by myself was kind of amazing...
Lots of things in Australia are amazing.
Tasmanian Rainforests are amazing.
The fireworks in Sydney were amazing.
Playing for an audience and suddenly realize it is amazing.
I've had a job last year, teaching music on a high school. That was pretty amazing too, haha.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you to play the piano or sing. If you want to I could even teach you music theory. I can obviously teach you how to speak Dutch, or improve your English.
I would love to learn a bit of every language I come across. And I'm always up for new stuff.
