going with the flow after quitting my job as a neurophysiologist. i´m open for new adventures, situations of all kind, people who think different than the mainstream, people who define themselves as mainstream, just everything...

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

because 10 years ago, that was the best solution to break free out of the conservative way of travelling. i had only positive experiences and met nice people...some i stayed friends with and some were short-term.

Intereses

- art....textile design...upcycling.. i like to screenprint fabrics and then sew shirts, skirts, pullovers or yoga pants. also i´m doing currently triangle scarfs, that can be worn in multiple ways...

- travelling ...my last travel was asia (as many of you, i´m also so much in love with asia..) "bangladesh - thailand - singapore - indonesia" will be back soon :)

- science ...yes neuroscience and everything that is - wait for it ;) - connected to it. i like to explain complicated matters to other people with a non-scientific background

- music ... mostly alternative rock and sometimes pop too. just discovering electronic art...

last book i read...wuthering heights! also very touching, the song w.h. from kate bush..
...my fav book...the count of monte christo by a. dumas. i love the feeling of revenge, especially Edmond Dantes paying it back to tout le monde!

- "the arabian nights" (love that! i want to be one of those old.school travelers à la sinbad the sailor etc...)
- biographies (marco polo and marie curie are my favourites..)
- comics (read all kind of stuff done by stan lee - marvel com.-...love the ultimates, where ant-man and the wasp talk about cellbiology...also enjoy thor and captain america

- PUCCINI !!!! (turandot)
- VERDI !!!! (la traviata, and i love RIGOLETTO)...and of course, my favourite bands are...the pixies (could sit for hours in a park with my mp3 player and the pixies screaming through my headphones), bran van 3000, morcheeba, calexico, scott walker, the dandy warhols (love that wild woman at the keyboards!), the arcade fire, boney m. (yesssss, i love them, cause i grandfather taught me so! fav. song - of course "rasputin"), the eels, serge gainsbourg (love him the same way i do johnny cash, cause those two always remind me of my soulmate l.), velvet underground, kula shaker, tears for fears (yeah! i was born in the 80ies....), dead or alive, dolly parton (i got my reasons for loving what she does, ok?), music by danny elfman, ennio morricone....
movies: at the moment, i´m very into david lynch...mostly: twin peaks. can´t get enough of special agent palmer and the other weird characters...

actually it was to quit my job without a plan what to do next. i very much enjoy now not having a plan :)
