Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I recently started traveling solo, and while I enjoy the freedom of it, I’ve realized I don’t want to have dinner or drink wine alone every night 😅. I’m on Couchsurfing to meet locals, hear their stories, and learn more about their culture, language, and daily life — things I’d never get from a guidebook.
For me, this is also about stepping out of my comfort zone and saying yes to new connections. I believe the best way to experience a place is through the eyes of someone who actually lives there, and I’m excited to see where that leads me.
