Our friends would describe us (Jan and Verena) as a brave couple, because we've chosen to travel 24/7 together for more than one year ;-)
In 2009 (during the financial crisis) we decided to quit our jobs for a big trip around the world... Our best decision ever!

After the trip we wanted to move to South Africa but we had to postpone our plans... Our daughter Kim was born in 2012 ;-)
So now our current mission ist to get her a worldtraveller too. So far she has been to Italy, South Africa, Bahamas and Spain with us. This year 2016 we´ll be driving up north to Sweden with our trailer... can´t wait for it!

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

On our research for our trip we found CS in many different travelblogs, so we were very curious, whether the idea is really working... now, we are convinced that CS is one of the best ways to make friends all over the world, to exchange experiences and learn much about each other and individual ways of life!

Before we started our trip in 2009 we have hosted some Couchsurfers and always had a lot of fun! We also had very nice couchsurfing experiences when we were on our trip around the world and all of them were GREAT!
Now we are back home and want to give back a little bit of the hospitality we experienced on couches all over the world.
