Hi, I'm Verena and I will turn 30 this year, bear with me people.
I was born and raised in the hills close to Venice, Italy - a land famous for its wine (Prosecco), food and history.
I studied at the university of Venice and after that moved to Paris for 2 years, where I lived with a family that I still adore and visit once a year. I then moved in a little appartment and enjoyed la joie de vivre for a while.
In early 2018 I moved back to Italy and I am living there since.

I am passionate about many things but the one thing I am proud to mention is art. I try to paint or draw on a daily basis but then life happens and I find myself more often at the supermarket than in front of the easel. Whenever there is an exhibition close to my place, I try to go. I am really into concerts and music.
Another thing I love is to learn people's stories. When I travel I tend to organize everything to the last detail but with age comes wisdom and I really believe in: the best way is to actually meet locals and hear their stories.

I confess, I am an avid pop-music consumer. I think music should make me dance in the kitchen and I am a 90s kid. If it's trashy, if it's cheesy, if it's nostalgic, if it's Beyonce- I love it.

When I was in high school, I volunteered at a facility for children with mental and physical disabilities, and it was one of the experiences that shaped me the most in terms of empathy and in building bonds.

Czym mogę się podzielić z gospodarzami

As a good Italian, I am a true chatter, I am loud and I talk with my hands - I mean I also have boundaries, don't get scared . My grandma won't be very proud of my culinar skills BUT there is a big but, I consider my Tiramisù the best. I come from the area where it was invented and I'm trying to honour my family's recipe.
I will be more than happy to prepare Tiramisù as well as learn some local recipes from you if you want :)

I have a disproportionate love for dogs and pets in general so your furry friends will be guaranteed non-stop cuddles too!
