About Me

I'd say I'm down-to-earth, always open for new things, always curious and never tired of traveling. I laugh, I sing, I jump and I fall, I get up again, jump even higher, get tired and sleep.
I study special needs education with German and English philology as well as arts as minors. I'm currently in my 5th year so graduation comes closer....
I'm really lucky and therefor grateful to have found a profession I love a lot and do with passion. Every time I'm in school and work with the kids, it's loud, tiring and exhausting, but so worth it. Every smile I cause, every time I realize a kid has learned something new and is happy about, I know I work for a good reason.

I could update the "About me"-section every single time I come home from a journey, because I never return the same person that was before leaving.
I love to meet new people, to get to know their stories and cultures, I love having conversations about nothing and everything with the people I meet -learn about them and learn about me.
I've always been fascinated how different and various our world is- with its various landscapes, great cities or wonderful seas and lakes and the more I get to know, the more I realize there is always so much more to explore...way more for one lifetime, but I'm eager to try my best!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've done couchsurfing several times before, blast time last year during my trip through Australia. I think it's a great experience staying with locals and get the opportunity to getting to know the country by locals. I love hearing theirstories, exploring new places- they either told about or even joined me when going there- that no travel guide would write about.
What could be a better way to understand and discover a country than trying to see it through the eyes of locals.

Interests

I'm often outside, I like the warm weather and the sun in the summer and the fresh wind and the colorful leaves in the autumn.
I like going running and thereby getting my head free or just amble in the evening hours through the city or the wonderful vineyards in Würzburg!
I like cooking and baking a lot and already did some typical Bavarian/German dishes in kitchens all over the world whenever visiting friends abroad or doing couchsurfing.
I work at a café to earn money for traveling and I really like music. Of course listening to, but also playing piano and viola and sing as well as going to festivals and concerts .
