About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Bridge the World with sharing experiences, Insight and Love

ABOUT ME

Hello all you lovely people out there - fresh update 2014 - I have now been back from my adventure round the world...thanks to those who hosted me in different parts of the world and thanks to those who were so nice & friendly all the way through...I look forward to now hosting and giving back to the CS community!!!

----------
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore; Dream; Discove¬Mark Twain

So, I followed his advice, quit my shitty job and booked the trip…. the trip I always wanted to do i.e “Journey Round the World and flying between Tonga & Samoa crossing the international date line”. The trip is mainly about meeting people from different cultural backgrounds and of course it’s about seeing the places as well!!! I don’t actually know but people say that you live only once…so as a travel enthusiast, thought may as well do this now than later, in case they are true ;-)

The Thought of backpacking for about 7 months was initially a bit daunting but as the days go by, I feel more relaxed on the whole idea..¦good!!!!

And yes, forgot to say about myself…. Very easygoing, Relaxed, Calm, Considerate, Fun at times, Vegeterian, find it difficult to listen to hard metal or punk music in the pubs or clubs, can talk for 12 hours but also can remain silent for 12 hours (voluntarily)…think that’s enough, rest you can always find out when we meet.

Looking forward to meeting you all wonderful people out there :)

Love & Light

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a varied interest in music, listen to pretty much everything except Heavy Metal and Punk. My favourite music is "Sufi" which is traditional folk music from the Indian Sub-Continent, focuses most on powerful yet controlled vocals.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seen: My mother remained "Silent" for 15 minutes...ya really!!!!!

Done: Learnt playing Mouth Harmonica in one day by myself...without a teacher... May not sound "Amazing thing done" to you guys but it was amazing and still is... I feel Music gets you in tune with life and whatever surrounds it....Owaahhh

Also, I have driven through World's Second Highest Mountain Pass Tanglang La (Ladakh-India) at 17582 ft in frozen conditions. That was the most thrilling experience I have had in my travel life.

I also had a very stupid travel experience with my Granddad when I was a child..his Jeep's front gears stopped working so rather than getting the gear box fixed, he drove back home 60 KM in reverse gear...LOL.....will never forget that!

Teach, Learn, Share

After having lived over 30 years, I have learnt quite a lot from life (I think:)...not sure how much of that I could/should teach ;-) but I really enjoy sharing experiences, ideas and outlooks with people...

Countries I’ve Visited
