About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To explore the world!
ABOUT ME
I live in Denver, CO with my fiancé Eamon. We're both graduate students at the University of Colorado and spend our non-studying time exploring the city and occasionally getting up to the mountains.
I love traveling, playing soccer recreationally, acting far less mature than my age and of course meeting new people! The transition to Denver has been wonderful, although I do miss living somewhere that's not graced with freezing weather for weeks at a time. Still adjusting to that but otherwise loving life in a surprisingly multicultural and interesting city!
PHILOSOPHY
I find that life is enriched and given meaning largely by the people with whom we spend our time. As a result I focus most of my energy on being with those I love and finding new people to connect with. I am still learning about the world and growing as a person, and I hope that process never stops!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have hosted multiple people with my fiancé Eamon. I have yet to surf someone else's couch, although I hope to do so in the future! All of my surfers so far have been amazing, interesting and entertaining people, and I look forward to having more people visit.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
It's interesting, when you meet people tied by a common interest such as traveling, it seems impossible not to enjoy one another's company. The couchsurfers who have come to visit have made my days far better than they otherwise would have been. Thank you all!
Interests
Soccer, foreign films, sometimes US films, good books (existential and otherwise - I particularly like Camus), relaxing, being outside, camping, drinking and playing with friends, sleeping in, travelling, especially out of my comfort zone, eating good food...the list goes on, come visit and we can pursue our interests together!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: pretty much anything, although I have a large soft spot for 60s and 70s rock.
Movies: I can appreciate any movie (really, no matter how bad) if I am in the right mood. I have been watching a fair amount of foreign flicks recently, including many French films (Delicatessen, anyone?).
Books: I enjoy most genres of literature. I have read a lot of existentialist writing (most of which is far beyond my comprehension but I can't help myself), along with the classics, a lot of nonfiction and science fiction.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Scuba diving in Hawaii with sea turtles and a variety of smaller creatures was definitely one of the more amazing experiences I've had.
