My name is Veronica. I am currently teaching English as a second language to Chinese undergraduates in Qujing, China. This is my fourth year in China. I am first generation American raised in between Elizabeth, NJ & Medellin, Colombia.

I am a fun, loving, happy, easy-going person. :)

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

One of my best friends experimented with Couchsurfing with nothing but success. I love everything this community has to offer. Not everyone is open to these kinds of things and that's unfortunate because you miss out on great people and experience.s

I am here because I want to travel the world as much as possible and meet lifelong friends along the way. The world is a beautiful place and I believe Couchsurfing can allow me to experience it through many different lens.

Intereses

I love family, food, friends, traveling, books, tattoos, coffee, learning, working out, languages, & Sudoku.

I like long walks to the refrigerator. Okay, that was a lie. I like short walks to the refrigerator. :)

I love the beach, hiking, experiencing new things, dancing, cooking, eating!

As far as for dislikes, I am not one for small talk. Enlighten me, share your thoughts and dreams with me. Teach me something!

Música, películas y libros

Favorite music depends on the day. But I do enjoy: Salsa, Bachata, Rap, R&B, Country, Jazz, and I LOVE the 80's.

Favorite movies? I can't decide. That question is too hard. With so many good movies in this world, how am I supposed to choose just one?

All time favorite books would have to be Harry Potter. Although I do enjoy reading Ayn Rand.

I have bungee jumped in China with no one speaking English and only having my feet secured.

***This year in 2017, a girl's cord snapped and she ended up in the hospital. AH! Blessed to have done this and lived to tell.

Safe to say, I love thrilling activities.
